Since 2019, Central Texas Mycological Society has led the effort to bring voice to the Queendom of Fungi in Central Texas. We teach Central Texas communities about Mycology, the study of Fungi, and techniques for incorporating mushrooms into our lives.

Our mission is to strengthen the conservation, awareness, and study of Mycology in the communities of Central Texas by creating a member self-directed non-profit organization, CTMS.
