We will be giving away mushroom blocks at Alisha Gabriel’s educational and interactive workshop all about fungi!
Award-winning children’s book author and music teacher Alisha Gabriel will lead this family-friendly event, featuring a read-aloud of her newest picture book, Fungi Are More Than Mushrooms.
🍄 What to Expect:
A live read-aloud session with the author
A hands-on mushroom dissection with a plush model
A sing-along to a fungi-themed song
A craft activity to take home
🍄🟫 The Central Texas Mycological Society is donating recycled mushroom blocks for participants to take home for free! Mushroom blocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alisha will have copies of her book for sale, along with mushroom-themed accessories, including earrings, keychains, and socks. 🍄
