Join us for a special day of community action and education at Circle Acres Nature Preserve! Together, we’ll plant trees while learning how to give them the best start in our challenging Texas climate.

What to bring: Bug spray (there are mosquitos!), water, sunscreen, gloves. We highly recommend wearing long pants. No sandals or open-toed shoes! Water and snacks provided.
Parking: Circle Acres Preserve is located next to Roy G. Guerrero Park off of Grove Boulevard. Park in the lot located at 508 Grove Blvd. See the map for directions, parking lot location, and how to find the trail entrance.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Austin, from Austin, is a long time gardener and farm nerd in the Central Texas scene. Through volunteer farming and engaging in outreach he actively pursues ways to improve the local food system with the aim of cultivating community.
