What do Mario Bros, Banksy, and Alice in Wonderland have in common? Very mush! Angel Schatz from Central Texas Mycological Society will explore art, religion, alchemy and how mushrooms were first used and then removed in western culture leading eventually to the war on drugs which is really a war on nature, a tool implemented by the ruling class to maintain power and suppress others. She'll explain how the spiritual was replaced with the material and the collective consciousness was replaced with individualism and how art as a commodity grew out of this paradigm.
