Coming to Austin, Texas on April 8th we're partnering up with Mycelium Matters that curate events with amazing mushroom brands and organizations to bring you a myco-educative packed experience!
Myceliumatters will be donating a portion of the ticket sales to the Center for Psychedelic Research and Therapy at UT Austin for their upcoming psilocybin research and trials for PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
The Mushroom Conference will be a full day of mycological speakers, walkthroughs, and mushroom snacks and supplements that will expand your awareness on all the benefits fungi contribute to our personal health and wellness and for the earth's environment.
Texas Mushroom Conference Speakers include:
Dr. Greg Fonzo who is co-director of the Center for Psychedelic Research & Therapy will be speaking on psilocybin on the brain and clinical trials.
Angel Schatz alongside Chris Garza are primary organizers for the Central Texas Mycological Society, will be speaking on mycoremediation and and their fungi based programs.
Josh Googins of Fallen Oak Mycology will be giving an intro to mushroom cultivation.
Garrett Wilkerson from Pegasus Bags will be educating the attendees on his plastic eating fungi.
Alex Dorr of Mushroom Revival will be moderating the speakers.
