TreeFolks for a 500 Tree Adoption event, with free trees to Austin Energy Electricity customers through our NeighborWoods program. The NeighborWoods tree adoption program will be at the Black History Month Kids' Day at the George Washington Carver Museum on 2/25 from 11a-3p! No need to pre-register – just come on by! Please bring a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency.
Treefolks will have 500+ trees for everyone to adopt! They’re bringing Peach 'Sam Houston, Plum 'Methley,' Cedar Elm, Texas Red oak, Chinquapin oak, Monterrey Oak, Native Pecan, Live Oak, Texas redbud, Mexican Plum, and Anachcho Orchid Tree. Which one are you getting? The TreeFolks NeighborWoods free tree program is a partnership with the City of Austin Community Tree Preservation Division and Austin Energy.
Mushroom blocks and trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
