Join us for a cordyceps cultivation workshop facilitated by the one and only William Padilla-Brown, the man who literally wrote the book on cordyceps cultivation.
Get hands on experience with low tek methods for producing commercial harvest of Cordyceps Militaris mushrooms. Cordyceps Militaris are the easiest cordyceps mushrooms to grow, and can produce high-value in todays market. With these techniques, anyone can grow Cordyceps! Beginners are welcome.
Cordyceps mushrooms are becoming more popular in North America as more research comes out on their pharmacological activity, and we see more farms popping up. Up until the past few years North American Cordyceps Cultivation has been focused on mycelium production for powders and capsules. There is currently a demand for Cordyceps Fruit bodies in North America. As more individuals begin to source more of their products locally there will be a demand for locally grown Cordyceps.
Since 2015, William has been working successfully on developing multiple East Coast Cordyceps militaris strains for Commercial Cultivation. Interestingly enough, you don't need insects to grow cordyceps, they will grow on materials that can be found anywhere, producing a valuable product. Cordyceps farms in Southern Asia have proven this to be a successful/sustainable venture. With simple understanding anyone can grow Cordyceps. Cordyceps militaris farms will provide communities with another Ecologically Regenerative Sustainable Micro Industry for our country!
