Join the Central Texas Mycological Society Leadership Circle. We need mycophilic folks to helps us grow the mycelial mass.
We are a volunteer run organization and we want to expand each of our organizing circles (below) to include 2-5 people and each role requires a minimum of 2 hours of volunteer work per month.
Being in the leadership circles don't require that you have a degree in mycology, just the enthusiasm for our mission. You also must already be or become a member. We meet once a month on the 4th Thursday of the month to organize the following:
Fundraisers
Educational Programs
Membership Engagement
Public Outreach
Volunteer Coordination
Here’s a document that has a short explainer of how we are organized and more specifics on where we need help in these areas.

If you want to do educational programs we pay all of our educators. This includes leading walks, teaching online or in-person workshops, and teaching gardening with mushrooms classes. Being involved in the leadership circles is a way to learn even more about mycology. Join us and share your idea.
