About the Presenter:
After self curing his own Lyme disease, Alex Dorr sought out to change the world with mushrooms. He is the founder, president and CEO of Mushroom Revival Inc, a functional mushroom company dedicated to reviving health and helping people feel truly themselves. The company plants a tree for every product sold, planting over 33,000 trees around the world over the past three years, promoting biodiversity, strengthening local communities, and making the world a better place. Alex resides in Austin, Texas with his loving partner Lera Niemackl, who co-hosts The Mushroom Revival Podcast (#1 mushroom podcast in the world) with him. Alex got his degree in mycology, and is the author of the book "Mycoremediation Handbook: A Grassroots Guide to Growing Mushrooms and Cleaning up Toxic Waste with Fungi" (2017). He led the growth of the largest and first certified organic Cordyceps militaris mushroom farm in the Americas. He is an international educator and researcher on mycology, teaching and conducting research all around the world in places such as China, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, Iceland, Jamaica, Vietnam, and more. Alex is absolutely obsessed with the healing power of mushrooms and is pioneering the culture and industry of the shroom boom.
